Hey, my name is Aran, I am the time lord! A drummer of 25 years strong playing in bands, running local jam nights, teaching drums and music production. I have a BA Hons degree in music production from Ravensbourne University.

I have worked in many SEN schools helping nurture children and teenagers to grow and preparing them for the outside world. But I have always injected my passion for music and creative arts within these job roles. I taught drums and music production in my lunch breaks. I even set up a video games club in my lunch times where we played Mario Kart, F1 and many other titles.

I have led council funded music production sessions “Sounds Around Our Towns” where we used the places that we live as our sound, recorded this using Ipads and made soundscapes out of this.

I live my life with anxiety, chronic pain conditions, neurological and genetic issues but I don’t let this stop me. You in the right environment can achieve all your hopes and dreams. This is why I resonate and am so passionate to be working with Mind Jam as this creates the perfect environment to flourish. My empathy spans far and wide, I endeavoured to listen and create a safe space where we can just be supported together.

I have been on a journey since 2023 of self discovery and have started to train to become a counsellor. This has opened up my world.

Let’s get to gaming! I grew up on the PS1 playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2, Rayman, Abe’s Odyssey, Tomb Raider 2, Formula 1 98 and my biggest love, Music. A game where you can literally program a whole song on a PS1. I guess I have this to thank for my degree.

I moved on to Xbox 360 and played Halo 3 and my favourite game of the franchise Reach. I still play Halo Infinite and have stuck with it through its rough patches.
I now have a PC and have Steam and the Xbox game pass ultimate.

Since building my own PC just before lockdown, I have enjoyed games such as the Arma franchise, Hell Let Loose, Squad, Enlisted and the old Warhammer 40k Dawn of War RTS and Company of Heroes games.

I also enjoy games such as Minecraft, Ark, Valheim, Age of Empires, Goat Simulator, Battle Block, Destroy All Humans, Dirt franchise, Grid, F1, Forza, COD, Battlefield, Tony Hawks franchise and remakes, Riders Republic, Borderlands, Castle Crashers, Chivalry, CrackDown, Farcry, Human Fall Flat, Just Cause, Skate and Skater XL, State of Decay, Left 4 Dead and DJ Hero.
