We work with Communities, Provisions and places of Education to develop projects and Services that can make a real difference in the Neurodivergent Communities and beyond.
About MindJam Community
MindJam Community works with it’s sister company MindJam, as well as external provisions, Community Groups and places of education, to provide support for Neurodivergent families, young people, and their local communities as a whole. We strive to bring a more cohesive connection between Neurodivergent families and their local communities as well as service providers.
Who We Are
MindJam Community began as a means to provide extra support to the families of the young people that were accessing mentoring from our sister company MindJam. Our first project – Counselling4All, was developed to give free counselling to parents and families of Neurodivergent young people, to ensure they have the support they need to enable them to in turn feel able to support their young people when they need it. From there we have begun to develop further projects that take that support and networking into the communities within which they live.
Our Mission
To develop understanding and support around Neurodivergent people, their families and their local communities.
Develop projects that solve a problem or need in local communities.
To address social stereotypes and stigmas around Neurodivergence, and mental health.
To Empower people to support and engage with others in their local community, from a point of understanding and awareness.
To provide opportunities in the community for neurodivergent young people, and those struggling with mental health issues
To provide Economic and Emotional, and legal support in time where they feel they are not able to access this from organisations, educational settings or local authorities.
Our Team
MindJam Community works alongside MindJam, as well as other provisions, Therapists and Organisations to provide new experiences for the Neurodivergent community. Our initial team manages our many projects, working with a framework of partners and affiliates to develop relevant and cohesive projects and opportunities.
