Bronze Award
- Qualification level: Level 1 Award (RQF, equivalent to GCSE grades 1 to 3)
- Starts to add more independence while developing creative skills in an artform
- Open to anyone aged 11 to 25
The Bronze Award is a good choice for mentees that have some experience of an art form and wish to develop their skills further. Mentees also create a review of an arts event, research a creator of choice and share skills with others.
The Bronze Award is made up of 4 parts:
- Part A: Explore the arts as a participant – Mentees take part in arts activities showing improvement over time and reflecting as they go
- Part B: Explore the arts as an audience member – Mentees experience an arts event and create their own review in a format of choice
- Part C: Arts inspiration – Research a creator of choice to learn about their career, life and work
- Part D: Arts skills share – plan and deliver a skill-share activity showing others how to do something
