Hi!

I love expression, tricks, challenges, art and play.

I have studied music production at university and create music on my chill days/nights, my mind is usually making music while out of the studio which I express through beatboxing, a hobby I started at 8 years old. I love all kinds of music although when creating, I tend to gravitate towards Hip-hop, Classic Dubstep and Drum and Bass.

I am a Parkour coach at Team Reality Parkour Academy, Parkour is a sport where individuals interact with surroundings/obstacles creatively, finding challenges involving jumps, vaults, grabs, balance, swings and sticks, often linking movements together fluidly and efficiently. I love the freedom within the sport to be yourself, everything is unique due to ever changing movements and surroundings, although there are guidelines, it’s all up for interpretation and participants’ individual version of play. I started when I was 14 years old, I was relentlessly made fun of for it in school (Potentially exacerbated by the US Office series) but I stuck with it nonetheless, because IT’S THE BEST!

I teach circus skills as part of The Earthbound Misfits, involving juggling, plate spinning, balance and so much more. Often children I teach will say “I can’t do that, it’s too hard” but after breaking the trick into segments they soon discover they can do it, followed by a beaming smile!

The biggest lesson I have obtained while practising my hobbies is that the mind is the first obstacle when faced with any challenge. Many things seem so difficult and overwhelming when looked at as a whole, but when broken up into smaller steps, along with patience and persistence, it soon becomes manageable. It’s so rewarding learning new skills and tricks, each win (big or small) adds up, supporting belief in one’s own capabilities. This technique I have applied to my life with learning anything new. It’s okay to not know how to do something, everyone has to start somewhere.

My Grandparents were foster carers for over 30 years, we are a very close family and I have spent a lot of time throughout my life with children and teens that have come from difficult and traumatic upbringings, this experience has taught me to have patience and space to understand people, that it is not wise to assume and that being there for someone through difficult times can change lives. Many of the people my Grandparents have cared for are now considered family.

Computer games have been part of my life since I was 5, I’ve had awesome experiences playing with friends and by myself and has served as an emotional aid at times too. My favourite games: Minecraft, Rocket League, Horizon, Fantastic Contraption, Skate 3, Call of Duty, Gran Turismo and Assassins Creed.

I work with children regularly via Parkour coaching and Circus workshops, I am fully DBS checked and have safeguarding training.
