A passion for gaming and creativity has brought me to MindJam – I have spent time in a number of schools and colleges helping to provide workshops and presentations during studying for a
degree in Music Production. I have previously been employed as a Disability Support Worker and an Outreach Ambassador, which has since inspired me to provide assistance in helping others. I currently work as an Office Administrator – in my spare time I enjoy playing games and producing music, playing in a band that performs and releases music on YouTube, Spotify and other streaming services as well as solo projects.

I have been playing games since I was able to pick up a console – my oldest memories are of playing Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Mega Drive, catching Pokémon on the Gameboy and nowadays spend my time exploring the caves in Minecraft on Playstation 5 or XBOX Series X. The thing I enjoy the most in these games is getting so emersed in the worlds. I often like to play RPG’s such as Skyrim and Pokemon Scarlett for this exact reason. I find the co-operative side of games like Minecraft can be very comforting, and playing alongside friends encourages team building, cooperation and communication which is a great release. I have recently been playing battle royale games as there is a lot of enjoyment in landing a win, as well as Fortnite and Call of Duty Warzone.

I am really thankful for the opportunity to provide support and encouragement to others, and aim to promote positive coping mechanisms to help reduce stress and anxiety. I am thrilled to be a part of the MindJam team, and can’t wait to make a difference.
