Rob Croot

Mentor

I am delighted to join Mindjam as a mentor as I truly believe gaming is such positive way to connect with others and bring out the best in them.

Alongside Mindjam I work as an events manager for the local academy where I support young people and the local community take part in a variety of clubs, events and activities.
I have helped support Theatre groups, sports clubs, extra curricular activities as well as charities by creating a positive environment for young people to thrive in. I have extensive experience and training in supporting neurodivergent young people and safeguarding.  I am also fully DBS checked.
I have played video games my whole life through all the PlayStation as well as Nintendo consoles where I have found it has helped me overcome mental health obstacles and has allowed me to connect with and talk to others. I have also experienced the benefits of helping others through playing multiplayer games where playing games such as Minecraft, Fortnite and Mario kart with my younger brother whilst chatting has done wonders for our mental health and wellbeing.
