Harry Mitchell
Mentor
Hello! My name is Harry, I have worked with children within a nursery setting by being a 1-to-1 to children with Special Educational Needs. I have knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Online Safety, Autism, ADD, PDA, ADHD, Mental Health
I was amazed when I heard about MindJam and what Dan has accomplished, I thought it is such a unique way to help and support young children who need extra support by gaming/computing that I couldn’t wait to be a part of it. I love playing computer games as there is no limit to them, the different stories, characters and worlds you encounter, it can be an amazing way for anyone to express themselves or to be able to escape. Your imagination can just run wild with it. I love a challenge and I also welcome learning new things which I believe is the greatest gift when working with children as you do exactly that.
I don’t have any children of my own but I do have a nephew who has been diagnosed as Autistic and I love him as my own. With the environment I work in and the training I have received I have been able to help give my brother a better understanding of the condition and how to help his son. By doing this I could see that I wanted to help many children with similar needs which is why MindJam is perfect for me.
I am very much excited to be working with MindJam and to have the opportunity to make a difference to young people and their families lives
