I am a qualified animator with specialisation in 3D animation and character design. I worked for the AAA games studio Rockstar Games for over 6 years on some legendary titles, both old and new. In more recent years I have worked as a PPA cover Teacher, in the field of ICT. Working alongside more than 400 students per month has given me a beautiful view of the spectrum and diversity that life offers both ourselves and our children.

As a parent I see it our duty to allow our children to grow up not just safe, but free to make their own decisions and mistakes above our safety nets. To see their way into adulthood with open hearts and minds strengthened from positive developed experiences. I believe that Mind Jam offers a unique approach to assistance for our children, when they require something beyond the current (almost antiquated, and certainly stretched) educational model. I am trained to help and understand those with ASD and its spectrum but do not consider my own education finite. With further developments and understanding of the areas becoming available, I seek to consistently further my own knowledge.

I have been enamoured by computer games since I first laid hands on the Atari at a young age and I could waffle on about the social and cognitive development games can offer till the cows come home! My favourite games of all time (in no order) would be The Witcher 3, Fortnite, Mincraft, No Man’s Sky, Destiny, WoW, Sonic 2, CoD and Zelda.

Beyond games I have found great senses of achievement and fun throughout life, in my other hobbies such as….
Oil Painting, Watercolour, Digital Art, Martial Arts, Rock Climbing, Skateboarding, Gymnastics, Breakdance (and teaching dance!), Running, Poetry, Stone Masonry, Photography, Basic Music Production, EVA Costume creation and more importantly.. Friendships!
