Mentor

Hi there – I’m Robyn!

I love art, reading, gaming and most of all, creating! I am passionate about generating spaces where everyone can feel safe & secure, as well as encouraging others to express themselves fully.

As someone who is not only neurodivergent, but also an older sister to brothers with neurodivergence, I have a unique understanding of what it means to be a young person needing additional help, that may require out-of-the-box approaches. That is why I am so passionate to be working for MindJam – it is just as unique as the people working for and benefiting from our services. I have completed training in safeguarding, online safety, and mental health support. I have experience working with kids overnight as a camp counsellor, offering well-being support and interpersonal skills development.

Games have always been a large staple in my life – from watching my older brother play, to family game nights – gaming has always been a reliable avenue to express myself. From platformers to story-driven narratives, I believe video games offer a unique way for people to connect, learn, and grow.

I’m fully DBS checked and have training in Autism and PDA.

Favourite Games

Fortnite, Animal Crossing, Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, InFamous, and Dying Light to name a few. I love playing co-op games but I’m not opposed to soloing a game with a good story!

Hobbies

Some of my hobbies out with gaming include photography and graphic design, video editing, cosplay, and reading / writing! If I get to be creative – you bet I’ve tried my hand at it.

We'd love to hear from you.
