Hello! I’m Rhianna, it’s nice to meet you!
Ever since I was a teenager, I have loved designing and making games. When I was
16, I won the BAFTA Young Game Designers award for my mobile game concept.
Since then, I have taken part in a variety of talks such as BAFTA Guru and more
recently I became a Video Game Ambassador through Into Games / Ukie’s VGAs
initiative. I love sharing my passion for game design with others and helping the next generation of games designers.
I’m also an experienced language teacher having volunteered in Slovakia and
Poland teaching students between the ages of 10 – 18 as well as working as an
English teacher in South Korea teaching students between the ages of 7 – 77 years
old. I have experience teaching children remotely through drama-based English as a
Foreign Language lessons and online book clubs. I have also worked in an
educational publishing company where I combined my teaching skills with game
design to create gamified language-learning experiences e.g. by designing
language- learning escape rooms.
I love travelling and exploring the world. Through my time at university, I was lucky
enough to be able to study abroad in Japan for one year. I have now travelled to 4
different continents and hope to visit more countries in the future.
My hobbies include taking part in game jams, learning languages such as Japanese,
and playing the drums. I enjoy learning new things and often take part in professional development opportunities.

Hobbies
Game jams, playing video games and board games, language learning, playing drums, going to concerts, listening to Visual Kei music, listening to Vocaloid music, sewing plushies, anime / manga, drawing.
