I am extremely proud to work for MindJam, as it’s a perfect combination of two passions of mine; supporting and empowering people with SEND, and gaming. As an older sister to someone with Autism, I understand the barriers that are constantly there day to day, not only for the individual, but for their families too. Being listened to and believed should not be an uphill battle and the lack of tools to support each person is frustrating and draining. I believe the sessions we provide are a completely safe space for each Mentee to be authentically themselves, and not be judged for it.

I have been gaming for years, and have experience playing on a multitude of consoles (PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch) and enjoy any and all types of games. I have firsthand experience in how powerful gaming is to strengthen bonds and encourage confidence, the team work that it involves alongside how funny gaming can actually be (I have ‘swam’ in lava quite a few times on Minecraft!).

I have a BA in Film Studies, and have a great understanding and interest in film editing, music editing and cinematography.
