Hello! I’m Joe.

My passions are acting, crafting, reading, cinema, and gaming. I’ve been a life-long gamer, so much so that my earliest memory is watching and listening to a cassette tape load frogger (then failing 90 minutes later and starting the process again). Through my life experience I have always championed the gaming space as an incredible environment for education, escapism and development.

I think that for all children the process of play must be encouraged, as it is the lens they naturally observe and digest the world around them through. I studied Illustration at university where I discovered that my love for storytelling was at the core of my being. Subsequently I have trained to be an actor and realised that the overlap of gaming storytelling and art is at the core of what play is. Wonderfully we live in an age where play is enabled by computer gaming that can explore almost any interest that children are interested in. As such I find that I am a huge advocate for the incredible source of understanding and support that gaming can offer.

Both my online and offline gaming history and my education has involved neurodivergent friends and individuals, I have certificates in safeguarding and mental heath and I am fully DBS checked.
