Alex Lapierre
Mentor
At the start of my professional journey, I had the privilege of working with children in the sports industry. This experience highlighted the vital importance of providing young individuals with the support and security they need to thrive.
I then embraced the opportunity to mentor children diagnosed with autism and ADHD, a role that felt like a perfect match for my skills and passions.
As a mentor, my primary responsibility is to guide and support these children as they navigate a world that can often feel unfamiliar and overwhelming. My goal is to be a reliable source of guidance while fostering their independence.
I firmly believe in the importance of building trust while maintaining clear boundaries to ensure the child’s well-being and prevent any emotional confusion.
Outside of work, I am passionate about gaming, particularly titles like World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 14, and Dota 2. I also love exploring the worlds of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and the Marvel franchise. Nature is another source of joy for me, whether I’m hiking or simply walking outdoors. I have a deep love for animals, especially reptiles, and have had the opportunity to work closely with them.
With my passion for gaming and my experience working with children, I believe that gaming platforms can be an effective tool for fostering growth and development in young individuals.
